Zaychishka Is Going To Montreal

Zaychishka Is Going To Montreal

Hey Everyone! I’m having a crazy week! Less than a week ago my boyfriend booked us a surprise trip to..Montreal! I have never been to Montreal, in fact I haven’t been to most of the Provinces or Territories of Canada and I’ve been living in this country my entire life! But, Canadian Provinces are rather large (as opposed to the sizes of Europe countries or American states). As some of you know I live in British Columbia, I’ve been to Alberta (once), and now I’m going to Canada’s East coast to see a bit of Quebec, specifically Montreal..in less than 24 hours. (There is also a cool blogger who lives in Montreal and she is Nikki from the blog Hipster Thrifter Girl shout out to her, and for visiting her turf hehe) Continue reading “Zaychishka Is Going To Montreal”

Goodbye Victoria’s Secret Swimwear

Goodbye Victoria’s Secret Swimwear

I never thought I’d see the day when Victoria’s Secret would say they’re no longer continuing the production of their swimwear. Wasn’t it only recently when they began those beach/ swim specials for the TV. Cue the models, and tropical paradise that we all wish we could escape to for a little while. Who doesn’t love holidays? Fashion Find: Hugo Boss Tweed Blazer

Fashion Find: Hugo Boss Tweed Blazer

Hey Everyone! Living in Canada, particularly British Columbia means that you’ll seldom find deals on designer goods. It takes a lot of hard work, sifting and yes, dedication to find something worthy enough to bring home that has that great price, quality and designer label. A while ago I found a Hugo Boss tweed blazer on sale from Holt Renfrew. The original price was listed at $700, and the sale price brought the blazer down to $100. Let me stress that I remember back in the day when I was like 11 Holt Renfrew never had deals, or sales as good as the ones they’ve been having in recent years (visit Holt Renfrew during their sales and you might find something you’ll fall in love with with the right price). Ruffles & Romance For Farfetch.Com’s Style The Trend

Ruffles & Romance For Farfetch.Com’s Style The Trend

Hey Everyone! Recently Farfetch.com reached out to me to take part in their Style The Trend competition. I would like to say that I’m honored to be able to take part in their blogger competition, entailing that I would be able to put together a look that represents one of the major trends for Spring Summer 2016. I decided to pull together a look from my own closet, and create an outfit that included ruffles and romance. I love the idea of ruffles for spring, they can make you look whimsical, feminine, and yes romantic. Continue reading “Ruffles & Romance For Farfetch.Com’s Style The Trend”

Green Smoothie Recipe

Green Smoothie Recipe

Hey Everyone! I’ve been making and drinking a lot of smoothies just to increase my fruit and fibre intake since it is still winter, and I feel like this is the time of year when you need the extra vitamin C! This happens to be my favourite smoothie of the week that uses fresh Kale, green apple, grapefruit etc! The rest of the recipe is included below! I do think this is a low calorie smoothie as it doesn’t rely on a lot of juice (just a splash- but you can also omit it), and you can also try it with protein powder for a post workout smoothie, or if you’re just looking to increase your protein intake! Antiques, Auctions & Jewels

Antiques, Auctions & Jewels

Sometimes a fashion blogger has a desire to search for unique items outside of the mainstream way of department stores, malls, and vintage shops. You see my family are the type of people who enjoy attending, and bidding at the auction, both online and in person. And, well my family has me hooked on auctions. I have childhood memories of the items my father would bring home, like that toaster that was meant for a restaurant, and required an abnormal amount of voltage. To that time he bought an ugly painting that hangs on the foyer wall. I tried to secretly sell the painting on craigslist with the caption “big ugly painting for sale”, and the end of the story is: it’s still in their house. Or the industrial meat slicer that only comes out for cutting up cheese and salami during Christmas, with expert precision. A Fringed Find To Inspire Fashionistas On A Budget

A Fringed Find To Inspire Fashionistas On A Budget

Hey Everyone!! I love to find things on sale just like everyone else and if I go to a store I’ll always hit the clearance rack first. So, the other day I decided I needed to get a backpack so I can store my camera and fashion week survival pack easily, and with style. I went into The Hudson’s Bay (my favourite store) and said to myself “I want to find a backpack for $20, that’s my limit”. And somehow I came across a black, fringed Kensie backpack that was marked down from $89.00, with an extra 40% off the last ticketed price which made the bag a total of $24 with tax.

Should Celebs Crossover To The Fashion World?

Should Celebs Crossover To The Fashion World?

“Hey everyone! I’m in a mood where I want to rant, and get some of your opinions, thoughts, comments, likes or dislikes about celebrities crossing over into the fashion world. There is this hollywood element that keeps popping up during fashion week, and it sort of bothers me. Let me first just say that I know people like Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Bridgett Bardot were celebrities who have gone on to be the inspiration for  countless fashion designers. We find their style to be timeless, classic and elegant. So it makes sense that fashion and celebrities have always been a part of each others world. 3. 2. 1..Happy New Years!!!

Happy New Years to all of you (shout out to the WordPress community), although I’m sure no one will be reading this post until later today since you’re probably out celebrating the new year in style! Tonight I will be with my boyfriend and his family to ring in the new year- and I simply can’t wait! There will be some of the best company, and Russian home cooked food around! So..wow I’m getting distracted hehe, for myself, the new year means that I have to set new goals, break old records, and enjoy every moment fully. I do have some future plans and that will involve a photo shoot with myself, and I will be unveiling what I look like (I’m sure some of you are curious!!), and I have an interesting concept that I have put some thought into that I can’t wait to share!
