Hey Everyone! There’s something about Shay Mitchell that reminds me of the blogger Sincerely Jules, perhaps it’s the beautiful places on the actresses Instagram page or maybe it’s the way she poses while wearing a pair of sunnies. Anyways I love Shay M’s casual style- she doesn’t try too hard and it reminds me of something almost anyone of us could pull off. Sometimes the simple styles are what I want to see…especially when I’m still recovering from the fashion at Vancouver Fashion Week and that was way back in March! Shay M’s style reminds me of the right amount of casual we could use on this happy Sunday. Unfortunately where I’m at, there’s a lot of rain, I’m bundled up in sweaters and I feel like we’ve reverted back to the season of fall. Continue reading “Shay Mitchell’s Casual Sunday Inspo”
Hey Everyone Happy Casual Sunday! This post is going to be short & sweet so get ready! I also want to know if any of you are getting ready to travel for the summer to some far off and exotic locations? I may be going on a trip but I’ll keep that quiet for now- but I will say that I promise to take photos to share with you all! I may even do a few outfit posts along the way and a few other travel themed posts!! Continue reading “Elena Perminova In Gondolier Inspired Stripes”
Hey Everyone & Happy Sunday!! I know I’m really into statement coats at the moment since I made a post about all of the eccentric and bold outerwear seen at Milan FW only yesterday! Anyways, Bianca Balti is one of my favourite Italian models of all time, and I’ve decided to pick one of her casual styles for a long overdo Casual Sunday post. I want to say that I don’t advocate wearing real fur, so for the look that I’ve picked I’m opting for faux fur instead. One of the brands I’m suggesting for the look is Shrimps a UK based brand by Hannah Weiland that’s been gaining popularity lately! Their faux fur coats have been seen on Miroslava Duma to Poppy Delevingne. Anyways if you love wearing your jeans, but you want to take your style up a notch, this post is for you!
The holidays are nearing and i’m that holiday mood! I’ve already decided on what gifts to give, and the wrapping paper (I’ll be using a mix between brown paper with twine, and paper that has little reindeers). I’m also thinking of making my boyfriends mother, and family a special Italian dessert- with a few tweaks involving lemon zest and limoncello. Now since it is the holiday season, I thought it would be a good idea to make Casual Sunday a little more “dressier”, but will still have comfy, and casual elements. Hey everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve put some effort into coming up with a Casual Sunday post. If you’ve noticed my last one was very “summery/nautical”, and I need to conform to all things fall! So this Casual Sunday post is more about how to do “parisienne casual”, or at least the way Elena Perminova does casual when she’s in paris. The look Elena is wearing is all by Isabel Marant (I adore Isabel Marant’s knitwear & there’s a part of me that’s still upset that I couldn’t get any of her pieces from her H&M collaboration). To break the look down further it’s essentially a cable knit sweater, structured leggings, ankle boots, a handbag and sunglasses. Each piece falls within the neutral palette. P.S Anyone can pull off this style, even if you don’t have the wallet for Isabel Marant. Just look for an oversized cable knit, and partially tuck it into some high wasted trousers, or structured leggings and away you go, you’re ready for fall you gorgeous girl. Hey, Happy Sunday!! Actually Happy Weekend! Some of you may remember that one of my Casual Sunday posts long ago..was dedicated to Miroslava Duma’s low key and nautical look– Well this time I’ve decided to do the nautical thing just a little bit differently as a nod to summer nearing an end. I’m going to be at The Yew this weekend for their three course brunch, and seafood is definitely on the menu! So I’ve been inspired to jump on deck and wear my own version of what nautical is to a la moi, and I’m posting my planned outfit right here in this post..along with a few other looks that plays on humble rope, anchor details- vibrant reds, navy and crisp ivories..in addition to the classic horizontal stripes. & I hope these looks can inspire you if you’re wondering what outfit to wear, for brunch, on a yacht in Odessa- or coffee in a trendy cafe & patisserie . Privet Matryoshkas, happy Casual Sunday! I’m excited about this post because it involves a romper and Irina Shayk. You see the romper that’s on Irina shayk as she tries to hail a cab in New York, is a romper that looks similar to a romper I own (from H&M by L.O.G.G- which is also featured in this post if you want a look similar to Irina’s), and wear every chance I get. This romper exudes comfort, beachy vibes, and suits my skin tone making it my HG of outfits for the summer. I also must confess that I have a romper obsession at the moment and I’ve already bought 4 this summer ranging from Dressy (for dining out), to Casual (perfect for Casual Sundays). I love wearing these out for casual, thoughtless style days..you know when you don’t really feel like putting an outfit together, and you don’t want to wear a dress, and you’re in no mood for playing mix and match with a two piece outfit. A romper is the third possible solution that can solve so many problems, just grab it, throw it on and go enjoy the day. Continue reading “Irina Shayk Romping’ Around”
“Think shades of ivory, and cascading layers that draw from hippie and bohemian influence creating that boho chic look that seems to resurface every summer. I’m sure none of you are all that surprised to see the return of boho. But, Some of you might be surprised to know that whenever the bohemian style is involved, there is often a hint of irony lingering. The boho style never began as a fashion statement, in fact the style was often worn by women who were indifferent to fashion altogether. The bohemian style didn’t filter itself into the style scene until the women of the early 21st century wanted to discard their bourgeoisie reputation in favour of a spirited, raw, and nomadic style consisting of flowing skirts, and patterns with endless florals.

Privet, today’s Casual Sunday post was inspired from a minor day trip I took on thursday to a small airport just to have a certain culinary experience. You see this particular airport is tiny, and it’s known for it’s famed desserts. When you first walk into the little building that hosts the airport cafe the first thing you see is their motto “I Fly For pie”- so that right there tells you automatically what you have to try. Once you find yourself a seat you can have breakfast, and yes pie while watching the little planes (cessnas) and helicopters land and takeoff. I decided to wear my H&M romper for the trip (Since our weather has been scorching, Friday it climbed to 31 degrees). Continue reading “Elena Perminova’s Sky High Style”
