Privet everyone ! Sigh, I was lucky that I was able to have front row seats for all of the runway shows that took place on way back on Saturday (March 19th), simply because 1) My feet in my Philip Lim heels remained happy, and 2) because it let me take photos of the designers collections without peoples heads and shoulders getting in the way! I also enjoyed seeing a lot of the evening collections because I don’t have a reason to invest in evening wear, but I find the fantasy to be irresistible. (but that’s an entirely different story)
Dominique Ansari was one of the designers who showed at Vancouver Fashion Week for the Fall/Winter 2016 season. Dominique’s collections are about letting women feel sexy and carefree. Her specialties include bolero jackets, dresses, bikinis and custom made garments for clients. She also likes to consider her clothing as comfort couture. You can check her out on her website: DominiqueAnsari.com
The Runway Low Down: Dominque’s show included two show stoppers; a black, and a white evening gown. The white dress made an interesting debut- the lights dimmed, and soon the audience was surprised by this elegant, evening gown, where the model walked as if she was from an ethereal plane, slowly captivating everyone.
“Her styles are known for their vibrant colours, versatility, unique cuts, and super soft fabrics. Using high quality jersey knits that are soft to the touch, makes this brand all the more luxurious.”
You are very lucky, looks like it was a beautiful show. That collection really keeps a woman feminine yet with and edgy touch! 🙂
