Privet Matryoshka’s! I haven’t put up a Casual Sunday post in forever, but this look has prompted me to make a Casual style post for you guys, and it’s called “The Jetsetter”. Ah, so the end of August can mean the end has come for most of your summer vacations, & August can also mark the end to the summer, which is sad I know- I don’t want summer to be over either. Soon I’ll be posting looks that are more concentrated on the fall season, and I have some looks already planned out for you guys to get inspired by.
So I’ve been thinking since most of you will be returning home from your vacations, and if the method of travel you are using is an Airplane, I think this type of look as seen on Irina Shayk would be perfect for the flight home. It’s comfortable, light, and can keep you warm on the airplane in case the flight attendants run out of those blankets. There’s nothing more annoying than having cold legs for a 9+ hour flight. To steal this look, you need to look for jeans that have a relaxed, or boyfriend fit, and if they are a bit distressed then I think that’s an absolutely wonderful shopping find. To complete the look further grab your favourite cropped sweatshirt- trust me you’ll want sleeves! (I’m obsessed with my grey one from the gap- I think it’s a part of the “boyfriend” look/ series and I’m pretty sure it’s still available), grab your favourite flip flops, and if a Hermes Birkin is out of your price range- use the purse you love the most, and don’t forget the last & vital essential- a pair of sunglasses. When I wrote about the topic of Airport Fashion, then you’d remember how important sunglasses are to the Jetsetter.
The look doesn’t only have to be worn for the flight home, it’s nice enough for a casual day, spent lounging or shopping for fall finds.
+ I’m loving Irina’s hair, it completes the look.
I think I’m in love with that white Hermes Birkin bag..
