Everyone knows that a wardrobe can’t be considered complete without having a trench coat. Once used in the military to keep officers and soldiers alike dry, the iconic wardrobe staple has adapted to a new life, where the stylish now dig through their wardrobes to find their trenches to wear for the fall season. Elena Perminova’s cropped Burberry trench has piqued my interests, it’s a re-vamped version of a classic; It’s even double breasted. This TBT post is not only about the cropped trench that I’m envious of (it looks incredible from the front and back btw), but of the details, and accessories Elena chose to wear with three different looks that accompanied the iconic wardrobe staple.
I can never get enough of her style!! Anyways she wore the cropped Burberry coat out for London Fashion Week, back in the fall of 2013.
An outfit maximizing a feminine look : A peplum top mixed with a lengthy pencil skirt.
Love the colours, details & that bag
A modern way to revealing a bit of skin. Cropped trench and high waisted leather pants with a relaxed fit.
A closer look at the trench, side and back view
Beige and plum, perfect colours to mix and match for fall
Look at those shoes! I think they are warding off the evil eye!!
Oh wow, she’s stunning and her sense of style is amazing!

Only yesterday I was talking with my mother on this issue- I don’t have a tench coat, and I never understood why I would need it so badly 😀
But I like these pictures, it looks very classy.

:O What?? You don’t own a trench? Hehe one day I think you will own one, and when you do I hope to hear about how much you adore it 😛
I just love that if you are in a hurry, and you have errands to complete- and it’s one of those days when you wish to dress up but you also feel kind of “blah” about the clothing in your wardrobe..well the trench is perfect for making you look classy while concealing the blah-ness. 😛

Wow, these look amazing! However, I don’t think they will look good on me because I’m not tall enough. I shall just admire them on other people. 😉
