Louis Vuitton has landed in Moscow’s famous Red Square! The massive chest is in fact a part of a Louis Vuitton exhibit that will last from December 2 until January 19. The exhibition is dedicated to the legendary House of customers: the famous travelers and adventurers.
Vogue Russia has stated this about the exhibit:
Among the heroes of the exhibition Maharaja Indian city of Baroda, Karen Blixen, Pierre Savorgnan de Brazza, Sofia Coppola, Catherine Deneuve, Isadora Duncan, the Empress Eugenie, Greta Garbo, Zaha Hadid, Ernest Hemingway, Damien Hirst, Albert Kahn, Matilda Kshessinsky, Yayoi Kusama, Etienne Lianozov, Tamara de Lempicka, Francoise Sagan, Vladimir Spivakov, Sharon Stone, James Turrell, Countess Orlova-Davydova, Diana Vishneva, Grand Duke Kirill Vladimirovich Putin and Boris. Lifestyle and Travel thirst eventually led each of them to a meeting to Louis Vuitton.
Their chests, bags and personal items as well as items inspired by or created by them, will be presented in the pavilion building, which modeled the chest, once ordered by Prince Vladimir Orlov. In addition to historical exhibits twelve contemporary artists present a video dedicated to the legendary travellers.
This looks kind of interesting, well the giant Louis Vuitton chest at least – definitely an event for fashionista’s to enjoy.
